Mount Gubongsan is a low mountain on the edge of Daejeon with nine linked peaks and walking trails. It is a local hiking choice rather than a major national sight, but the ridge gives a good break from the city and views over the surrounding valleys.
There are no major visitor facilities, so treat it as a simple trail outing and bring what you need.
