Mukho Port is a working harbour rather than a polished waterfront, which is why it is worth a look. Fishing boats, seafood restaurants, ferry traffic and the steep lighthouse hill behind it give this part of Donghae a clear identity.
Come hungry if you like fish. The port area is one of the more natural places in Donghae to look for a seafood meal before walking up toward the lighthouse and mural lanes.
