Wolmyeong Park climbs the hills just above the old port, with paths, pavilions, cherry trees, and views toward the Geum River estuary and outer harbour. It is the right place to get above Gunsan's flat streets.
The park works best as a breather after the museums and colonial-era buildings. In spring it is one of the city's prettiest walks.
