Jeommal Cave Site is a Paleolithic cave site outside Jecheon. Excavations here found animal fossils, including bear and short-tailed monkey remains, that helped researchers date early human activity in Korea.
It is a specialist stop rather than a broad family attraction, but worthwhile for travellers interested in archaeology, prehistory, or Korea's oldest known sites.
