Manseongri is Yeosu's black-sand beach, a short trip north of the main harbour. The dark sand, cafes, and seafood places make it more distinctive than a generic city beach, and the coast nearby includes the old Marae Tunnel route.
It is liveliest in warm weather. Outside summer, treat it as a coastal walk and a change of pace from the central harbour.
