Chicken Island is a standard stop on the four-island tours from Ao Nang, named for the odd rock profile at one end. The surrounding water can be good for snorkelling when visibility cooperates.
It is usually visited together with Ko Poda and the sandbar islands, so the experience depends heavily on timing. Early boats and small groups make a big difference.
