Bueng Phlan Chai is the place Roi Et gathers around. The artificial lake fills the middle of town, with a landscaped island, city pillar shrine, flower beds, exercise paths, and a large walking Buddha set among the trees.
Come late in the afternoon, when the heat drops and the park starts to fill with joggers, families, food stalls, and people meeting friends after work. It is the simplest way to catch Roi Et acting like itself.
