Placencia Beach is the village's easiest pleasure: warm water, soft sand, and restaurants and bars close enough that you do not need to plan much. It is not wilderness, and parts of the peninsula are heavily developed, but the village end still has a relaxed scale.
Use it between trips. A morning swim, a reef day, then sunset back in the village is the rhythm Placencia does best.
