Kinosoo Beach is Cold Lake's main summer gathering place, a sandy stretch on the lake with swimming, playground space, picnic areas, and room to walk the shoreline. In a northern Alberta town, a warm beach day feels like a real event, and this is where much of that energy collects.
The beach is most useful from late spring through summer, when the lake and facilities are part of the town's rhythm. Outside that season it becomes more of a scenic stop and walking place. Bring layers even on sunny days; lake wind can change the mood quickly.
