Heiko's Trail is a demanding point-to-point hike near Fernie, about 20 kilometres long with roughly 1,200 metres of elevation gain. The route is best known for big mountain scenery and for giving access toward the Three Sisters area.
It is usually a summer hike, with the reliable season running from about June to September. Treat it as a full mountain day, not a casual town walk.
