The covered bridge over Kuskanax Creek is a short walk from Nakusp Hot Springs, but it opens into a more satisfying forest ramble. From the bridge you can turn toward the creek and falls or continue farther toward Kimbol Lake. It is the best way to turn a hot-springs visit into a half-day outing.
