McIntyre Bluff

Dramatic volcanic bluff south of Okanagan Falls, also known as nʕaylintn.

McIntyre Bluff, or nʕaylintn, is one of the most striking rock faces in the South Okanagan. Dark volcanic rock sits over lighter conglomerate, making the cliff look almost assembled from mismatched pieces.

It is south of Okanagan Falls, so treat it as a short excursion rather than an in-town walk. The scale is best appreciated from the valley roads below.
