Old Coach Trail follows part of the early road between Radium Hot Springs and Invermere. The route starts close to town and runs along open slopes above the Columbia Valley, with information boards explaining the old road and the landscape around it.
It is an easy half-day walk or bike ride rather than a hard mountain hike. Go for the valley views, the dry-country scenery, and a quiet sense of how people moved through the valley before the modern highway.
