The Radium Hot Springs pools are the reason most travellers pull off the highway here. The hot pool sits below the cliffs of Sinclair Canyon, with odourless mineral water warm enough to make sense even after a cold day in the mountains.
It is an easy, managed experience rather than a wild spring, but the setting is unusually good. Go early or late if you want the canyon to feel less public.
