Hudson Bay Mountain is the peak that gives Smithers its shape. In winter it is the local ski hill, with a friendly, northern feel rather than a polished mega-resort mood. In summer the same road and slopes lead toward hiking, horseback riding, and big views over the Bulkley Valley.
