Eagle Run

Winter bald eagle viewing area on the Squamish River.

Eagle Run is a winter reason to come to Squamish slowly. From roughly mid-November into February, bald eagles gather along the Squamish River to feed on spawning salmon, and the viewing area gives you a respectful place to watch.

Bring binoculars if you have them. On a good day the birds are obvious, but the best moments are often across the river or high in the cottonwoods.
