The Williams Lake River Valley Trail follows the creek and valley west from town toward the Fraser River, crossing small bridges and open patches of dry Cariboo landscape. You can do a short out-and-back from Comer Street or make a longer ride or walk from the Frizzy Road access.
It is not dramatic in a Rocky Mountain way. Its appeal is quieter: grass, cottonwoods, creek bends, and a sense of the valley that shaped the town.
