Williams Lake Stampede

The Williams Lake Stampede is the town's headline event, held around the Canada Day weekend. It brings professional rodeo riders, chuckwagon racing, barrel racing, a parade, a carnival, and a very Cariboo mix of ranch families, First Nations groups, visitors, and local volunteers.

If your timing lines up, this is the reason to be here. Outside the event dates, the stampede grounds still help explain why Williams Lake calls itself BC's Stampede Capital.
