Dauphin's old Canadian Northern Railway station was built in 1912, when rail lines were still deciding which prairie towns would grow. The museum inside covers a century of rail service with photographs, tools, lamps, model railway scenes, and local railway material.
The building is the main attraction. Its brick station architecture gives downtown Dauphin a visible link to the line that still carries VIA Rail trains between Winnipeg and Churchill.
