The mall has over 170 stores spread across two floors, including the standard Canadian department stores and chains alongside a Crystal Palace amusement park (a separate attached facility with rides and a water park aimed at families) and a Bass Pro Shops outdoor equipment store large enough to contain its own indoor pond.
For travellers, it is mostly useful as a destination for stocking up on outdoor gear, warm clothing (the Maritimes' weather rewards preparation), or the kind of shopping expedition impossible in smaller towns. The attached amusement park is the only such facility in the region and draws families on rainy days.
