The Owens Art Gallery belongs to Mount Allison University and is usually described as the oldest university art gallery in Canada. It is a small gallery, but a serious one, with changing exhibitions and a collection that connects Sackville to a wider Canadian art story.
It pairs well with a walk around the compact campus and downtown Sackville. For a town this size, having a proper public gallery gives Tantramar much more cultural weight than you might expect from the highway.
