The Fortune Head Geology Centre gives context before or after the reserve. Its exhibits cover the rocks, fossils, and ancient environments that make Fortune Head important, along with local material from the Burin Peninsula.
It is a modest stop, but it makes the cliff walk easier to understand. If you are not a geology person, start here rather than trying to read the rocks cold.
