Baddeck's waterfront is small, but it gives the village its pace. The walk along the Bras d'Or shore has views to Kidston Island, boats in the harbour, and the low hills around the lake.
Use it between bigger stops rather than as a destination on its own. It is the place to slow down after the Bell museum, watch the light on the water, and remember that Baddeck is a lake village first.
