Ross-Thomson House and Store

Restored Loyalist-era house and store showing late-18th-century trade on Shelburne's waterfront.

The Ross-Thomson House and Store is a restored 1780s merchant property, set up to show the trade and domestic life of early Loyalist Shelburne. The stocked store is the best part, because it makes the town's sudden boom feel practical rather than abstract.

Visit it with the nearby county museum and dory shop. The three small sites work better together than separately.
