Robert Simpson Park is Arnprior's easiest riverside pause, with lawns, picnic space, a small beach, and views across the water. In summer it is the place to cool off; outside swimming weather it still makes a good walk after the museum or Gillies Grove.
The park is modest, but the setting matters. This is where the town feels most clearly tied to the rivers rather than the highway.
