Fulford Place

Edwardian mansion museum built for patent-medicine millionaire George Taylor Fulford.

Fulford Place is a 20,000-square-foot Edwardian mansion built between 1899 and 1901 for Senator George Taylor Fulford, whose fortune came from selling Pink Pills for Pale People. The Ontario Heritage Trust runs it as a house museum, and the interiors are the draw: heavy woodwork, period furnishings, and the confidence of a family that had made money fast.
