Old Mill Park

Old Mill Park is the centre of Campbellford's riverside life, a grassy strip running alongside the Trent River right in the heart of town. The Giant Toonie monument is here, along with a small pavilion, picnic tables, a bandstand and direct access to the waterway towpath. It is the standard meeting place for the town's summer markets, free concerts and the annual Canada Day celebrations.

A wooden footbridge crosses the river to Front Street and the town's small commercial strip. Children paddle in the shallows beside the lock during hot afternoons. Free parking nearby, and the park is the natural starting point for a walk south through town towards Ferris Provincial Park.
