Duchesnay Falls

Cascade of small waterfalls in a wooded gorge on the west edge of town

A series of stepped falls and cascades on Duchesnay Creek, in a fenced trail network just off Highway 17 on the western edge of the city. A loop of well-marked paths over wooden bridges takes about 45 minutes and includes the main falls plus three smaller cascades upstream.

A pleasant, quick stop when driving in or out of North Bay. The trail is part of the Trans Canada Trail. Best in spring snowmelt or after heavy rain.
