Laurentian Ski Hill is North Bay's local winter playground, a compact downhill area on the escarpment just outside the city centre. It is not a destination resort, and that is precisely why it works: the hill is easy to reach, manageable for families, and well suited to a few hours of skiing or snowboarding without turning the day into an expedition.
The hill is most useful for beginners, casual skiers, and travellers who happen to be in North Bay during snow season.
