L.M. Montgomery's Cavendish Home preserves the site where the author lived with her grandparents and wrote much of her early work. The house itself no longer stands, but the grounds, displays, and family context give Green Gables Heritage Place a more personal counterpoint.
This is a quieter stop than Green Gables. It is most rewarding if you care about Montgomery as a writer, not only about Anne as a character.
