Humboldt and District Museum is the town's key indoor stop. It occupies the former post office, a landmark building on Main Street, and its exhibits explain the 1878 telegraph station, the 1885 North-West Resistance context, and the German Catholic settlement of St. Peter's Colony.
Start here before driving to Original Humboldt. The museum gives the site west of town enough background to feel like more than a quiet field with markers.
