Original Humboldt Site marks the place where the 1878 telegraph station stood on the old Carlton Trail. The site has walking trails, storyboards, and art installations that connect early communications, prairie settlement, the North-West Resistance, and local First Nations and Metis history.
The official directions put it west of town on Highway 5 and south on Telegraph Road. Go after visiting the museum, when the open land has a story attached to it.
