Yorkton Court House

Provincial heritage courthouse showing Yorkton's early civic importance.

Yorkton Court House is a handsome early-20th-century civic building and a provincial heritage property. Built between 1919 and 1921, it was one of the courthouse projects that marked Saskatchewan's young provincial institutions in brick, stone, and formal architecture.

You do not need long here. It is best seen as part of a downtown walk with the murals and other heritage buildings, a reminder that Yorkton was once the confident centre of a wide farming district.
