Anse du Clerc is one of the prettiest beaches on the Grand'Anse peninsula — a long stretch of soft white sand backed by tall coconut palms, with calm water and a small mountain-fringed bay. It is about a 45-minute drive west of Jérémie along an indifferent road.
There's a basic guesthouse and a couple of grills at the back of the beach. Otherwise it is essentially undeveloped — bring water and stay until dusk.
