Barre de L'Isle Trail crosses a forested ridge near the island's interior divide, making it one of the more accessible rainforest walks for visitors based in the north or centre of Saint Lucia. The trail mixes broadleaf forest, bird calls, and occasional views toward both sides of the island.
It is a good choice if you want rainforest without committing to a full-day expedition. Wear shoes with grip; even managed Caribbean forest trails become slippery after rain.
