The Pedro Gold Dredge worked Chicken Creek from 1959 to 1967 after earlier service near Fairbanks, pulling thousands of ounces of gold from Interior Alaska gravel. It is now preserved at Chicken Gold Camp and is one of the clearest pieces of mining machinery a traveler can actually walk around and understand.
