American Bald Eagle Foundation

The American Bald Eagle Foundation combines a natural history museum with a live raptor centre, making it one of the easiest ways to understand why the Chilkat Valley matters for eagles. Exhibits cover local wildlife and habitat, while presentations introduce injured or non-releasable birds at close range.

It is a useful stop before heading out toward the eagle gathering areas along the Haines Highway, especially in autumn and winter.
