Holy Resurrection Cathedral

Russian Orthodox cathedral marking Kodiak's long colonial and Orthodox history.

Holy Resurrection Cathedral is a small but important landmark in downtown Kodiak, carrying the Russian Orthodox story that began here in the late 18th century. The present building is not the original, but the parish is one of the historic Orthodox centres of Alaska.
