A surprise in a town of fewer than 1,500 people: a Thai food truck parked on the Alaska Highway, serving generous plates of pad thai, drunken noodles, and curry to bewildered travellers and grateful locals. It is open in the warmer months only, and the line builds quickly in the evenings.
There is no indoor seating — you eat at a picnic table or take your container back to your truck. After three days of gas-station hot dogs across the Yukon it feels like a small miracle.
