Gold King Mine Ghost Town is the rougher, more ramshackle side of Jerome's mining story. The site gathers old mine structures, trucks, machinery, and weathered relics in an outdoor setting north of town.
It is less polished than the state park, which is part of the appeal. Go if you like rusty equipment, odd collections, and places that still feel a little improvised.
