Morley Avenue is the old commercial strip a few blocks north of the border. Its early 1900s shopfronts are modest rather than grand, but several long-running family businesses still occupy the historic buildings.
It is worth walking slowly for the sense of Nogales as a border town with its own deep memory, not just a crossing point.
