Oracle State Park protects about 4,000 acres of grassland, oak woodland, and high-desert habitat in the northern Catalina foothills. Trails are open to hikers, mountain bikers, and riders, and a section of the Arizona Trail crosses the park.
The park is also an International Dark Sky Park. If there is a star party or evening program during your visit, it can turn a modest daytime stop into a memorable desert night. By day, the Kannally Ranch House adds a little human history to the landscape.
