ASU Art Museum

The ASU Art Museum sits inside the striking Nelson Fine Arts Center on the south end of campus — a low, angular building of pink stucco and copper designed by Antoine Predock in 1989. The museum is one of the leading university art museums in the Southwest and focuses on contemporary and Latin American art.

Rotating exhibitions occupy most of the galleries. The permanent collection includes a strong holding of American prints and Mexican folk ceramics. Admission is free. The Predock building itself is worth seeing — its sunken courtyards and shaded walkways are a quietly brilliant response to the Arizona heat.
