Mountain America Stadium

Home of the ASU Sun Devils football team, Mountain America Stadium — long known as Sun Devil Stadium — is built into a natural bowl between two volcanic buttes. The setting is one of the most distinctive in college football: the desert hills hold the crowd, and the open south end frames the city skyline.

The stadium opened in 1958 and has since been heavily expanded. Game days bring tailgates spilling across campus and the surrounding parking lots. The stadium also hosts the Fiesta Bowl in college football's playoff rotation and large-scale concerts.
