Bearizona is a drive-through wildlife park on the eastern edge of Williams, on a stretch of the old Route 66. The park specialises in North American animals — black bears, bison, bighorn sheep, grey wolves, and javelinas — that you drive among in your own car. A walk-through section contains smaller animals, raptors, and a petting zoo area.
It is considerably less polished than a major zoo, which is part of its appeal — encounters with the bears are genuinely close and unscripted. Families with young children find it a reliable half-day activity, and it is a good option if you need to fill time before a Grand Canyon Railway departure.
