A row of eight ornate bathhouses built between 1892 and 1923 along Central Avenue, now the centrepiece of Hot Springs National Park. Buckstaff is the only one that has operated continuously since opening and still offers traditional thermal baths. The Fordyce Bathhouse serves as the park visitor centre — worth a look inside even if you are not bathing, for the stained glass and tile work alone.
