Forrest L. Wood Crowley's Ridge Nature Center

Free nature center explaining the ridge's geology, wildlife, woods, prairie, pond, and trails.

Forrest L. Wood Crowley's Ridge Nature Center is Jonesboro's strongest visitor stop. The free Arkansas Game and Fish Commission center explains the long, odd ridge that rises above the Delta, with exhibits, a film, observation areas, and trails through woods, prairie, and pond edge.

It is especially good with children, but adults get plenty out of the geology and wildlife context before heading into Craighead Forest Park next door.
