Blind Pass Beach is a good compromise between easy access and a bit of nature. The Gulf side has the sand and shelling, while the lagoon side gives you calmer water, paddling and short trails.
It is less of a scene than Englewood Beach proper, which makes it better for travellers who want to walk, sit, swim and leave without wrestling a resort crowd.
