Stump Pass Beach State Park

Wild south-end Manasota Key beach with trails, shelling, and Gulf views.

Stump Pass Beach State Park is Englewood's strongest outdoor anchor. At the south end of Manasota Key, it gives you a less built-up stretch of Gulf beach, a sandy walking trail, mangrove edges and good shelling.

It is the place to go when the central beach feels too busy. Walk toward the pass, watch for shorebirds and dolphins, and bring water because there is very little between you and the sun.
