West Lake Park is the nature break behind Hollywood Beach, a mangrove preserve threaded with paddling trails. It is close enough to pair with the Broadwalk, but the mood is completely different: quiet water, low green tunnels, and birds working the edges of the channels.
Kayaking is the best reason to come. The park also has walking paths and picnic areas, but it is strongest when you get onto the water and see how much wild coastal Florida still survives just inland from the beach strip.
